Episode Summary
The Nightmare Begins
We see a small ship flying into a convention center. There seems to be a gathering. The tallest are giving assigned doom missions. In order to satisfy the convict Zim's needs they give him a tuna sandwich...and they give him a mission to a planet that they dare not speak of. Zim gets a robot named Gir. This robot is very *advanced* and to trick the enemies it acts stupid. We also see Dib on the roof, recording the convention. He rushes down the pipe, falls into the sink, and tries to tell his dad. But Mr. Membrane is not listening because he is making toast. 6 months later we see Zim arriving at Earth. Here Gir sings his famous Doom song. They land on Earth and put on their diqueses, Zim being a small green boy and Gir being a small green dog. They go inside the house and prepare to go to school. The next day we meet another important character, Ms.Bitters. Dib gets suspicious of Zim and chases him home and attempts to handcuff him. Unfortunately a lawn gnome destroys the handcuffs rendering Dib's attack useless. The show ends when Zim goes down and reports his status to the shocked almighty tallest. Rating: *** Notes: There is a can of some thing by Gaz when she opens the fridge. It says something like OG IT. I will have to see what that means. Also, Jhonen has hidden some things in this episode. I am too lazy to write them down, so you will have to look for them in the episodes.
